Troubleshooting
What configuration files does Axiar require?
Under uprint, AXIAR requires four main configuration files:
ulpdef: for system configuration to define operators, spool folders, security, default processing behavior.
prtdef: for devices to be used by AXIAR, including direct network printers, remote printers, or customized programs.
formdef: to define how to process the incoming raw data or pre-processed data, it includes filters and customized programs.
classdef: to define priorities and to print banner pages or what to do after or before a page.
Why is my service not working?
Look under uprint for the udaemon.log. The file contains information about the service or daemon.
Service problems may be related to configuration files typos or the port being in use by another application.

How can I report a bug?
Send a detailed message to our support email with steps to reproduce the issue.
I am getting an error when installing on Windows: cannot fork, resource unavailable.
Axiar installation is a hybrid process, it needs to deploy a temporary Midipix subsystem, this error
is caused by an antivirus preventing the subsystem to run the shell interface. You can disable the antivirus to run the
installation, once the installation is completed, you can enable it and define the AXIAR installation folder as an
exception. For additional support on this error, please contact us.
Printer in assistance and nothing prints
Check your printer for common errors: out of paper, paper jam, or need service.
If the printer is working, check your prtdef settings for the printer. You should have PJL_status_readback=0
and SNMP_status_readback=0. Some printers do not understand the code related to those two features.
